In case any of you were wondering how I travel without spending a lot of money, this is one of the ways I do it. Instead of paying for motels or hostels every night, I simply converted the back of my Toyota truck into a small, yet comfortable camper. I bought a Leer shell for the back and made sure to buy one that is high quality and well insulated (for hot and cold weather conditions). For bedding I used a 6 ft futon mattress with a sleeping bag on top. And for storage, since I didn’t have cabinets or a refrigerator, I simply bagged everything with reusable bags that I’ve collected over the years and put them on the sides. So if you want to travel more and spend less money, then I highly recommend investing in a vehicle that can also serve as a camper! :)
